I finally uploaded the America's Next Top Model pictures onto facebook. Good times. I still have two glow sticks in my car. It is very cold out. I can taste the end of my book. I'm going to try to read at least 52 books this year. I think I have three down, so I need to work on catching up. I'll try to post on here what book I am reading or have just read and give a short review of it. Right now I'm just finishing up The Discoveries- Great Breakthroughs in 20th-Century Science. It's really interesting because it makes note of the political climate at the time of the discoveries and how it made an impact on the scientists work and their lives. And it has the original scientific papers. Though they make me feel stupid because I don't understand half of what is being said. Next book is going to be fun and where I don't have to think that much. I deserve it after this book.
In two weeks I'll be in MN. I'm a little excited and I think that Lauren's plan will work. I hope it will work. Otherwise I probably won't go to the conference. How fun would it be for a socially awkward person to be around 1500 people who she doesn't know and she won't make a move to talk to anyone unless they talk to her first? Not much. I would, however, have to go see Margaret Cho. Sorry Lauren.
It's my closing weekend right now. Last night we got out of there at 10:20pm which was awesome! I talked to Jeff quite a bit. It's random, I'm used to closing with Jon, but I like chatting with Jeff. For starters, he is only a couple years older than I am and we have a lot in common with movies and music. We've gotten to the point of recommending things to each other. I don't really have much in common with Jon, except sarcasm. Which is enough to get by.
I need to ask someone out for coffee or lunch. What would be a good way of going about this? It's her birthday on Valentine's Day, should that be the day? Or maybe a little bit before? I don't know. I have goose bumps. I think I'm cold, I need to put on another shirt. Okay, later skaters.
