Ahhh...no update in so long. Tons has been going on let me tell you. Lets see, there was NHS raking day:
HUGE piles of leaves
- the crazy bag lady who sent us a really nice, tear-provoking letter/poem of thanks
- the lady with NO leaves in her yard, just grass and mud and moss
- Friendly's afterparty!
Dance:
- crazy as always
- solos are getting done, slowly but surely
- I must say that my pointe is going to be the greatest thing since before sliced bread
- platter tutu will be gorgeous
- jazz solo costume makes me look as sam says "a sexy mama" an I, for the most part, concur
- overall things there are ok
- although the roof is going to collapse at any moment...
School, oh blessed school:
- AH!
- English is interesting to say the least
- Math suuuuucks
- I think I did well on today's quiz though
- chem is pretty good actually
- I'm a fricken chem genius on a good day
- History...
- Norm...
- your paper sucks
- you were a maaaajjjor jerk yesterday (oh and yes, I told him that today)
- overall people's demeaning commentary is just a general downer especially because 99.8908790% of the time they have NO clue what the hell their trying to talk about and then they tell other people they're wrong and/or criticize them enough to discourage any and all discussion as it will result in a damaging effect on either person's ego...
stress level has been getting rather high lately...half my family's like dieing or in and out of the hospital so that's always a good time. hospice is never fun nor are rehab facilities...
I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving and I hope you don't have to go through a similar torture as I am facing tomorrow. Yep, I'm goin to Holland, MA to "spend time with" my twin 5 y.o. cousins and their 4 y.o. brother and the in-laws, and grandpa and all hell's going to break loose as my psychotic aunt decided each of us kids has to make a gingerbread house...who wants to do that with the help and advice of a 5 y.o.? They're going to eat all the good stuff and put the gumdrops and spicey things whereever they want with no order whatsoever...it's all CHAOS!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
