It is so nice to be home and to finally have some time to rest and relax with my family! So far, there has been no partying or madness... just some calm, quiet time for ME. I must say that it is time well needed. I'm starting to realize that sometimes, at the end of the day, when it seems as if you have said all there is to say and done all there is to do, the long heavy sigh that follows can be liberating. This is how I feel. Like each morning presents a brand new start... A day to focus on myself, my friends, my family, basically anything and everything that I deem important and sometimes neglect to recognize. In this holiday season, these new focuses - these people - are what I am truly thankful for! Their love and support means the world to me and in all of my angst and griping, I oftentimes do not give them enough credit. Though there are many things on my mind, all of my self-doubt, fear, concern, etc. seems to melt away under a blanket of comfort that says, simply, "Everything is going to be alright." What more could you ask for, eh? :-) (well, except for an A in ITALIAN ~ Which I DID GET!!! *Joy*)
Now if it would only cool down a little, I'd be soooo happy. Christmas in the bright sun just is not the same.
