Update from the trip...

Ok... so I am at my friend Jason's house and he has a computer that does not act retarded so I figured I would update this now! *Thank you Jay for letting me play with your computer while u pack*. :-)

So I know that most people who actually care have already heard about my trip with Jeremy but I feel like writing about it anyway (it'll help me remember the small things I might forget later)

On the 19th we flew into San Juan Puerto Rico - the day was consumed by flights and running around to be on time. It was a long day but well worth the travel. We stayed at a hotel called the Water Club and it was right on the beach. The view from the top of the hotel was amazing. Since we got in late, we basically grabbed something to eat and passed out.

The next day, we gathered our stuff and headed over to check into our rooms on The Serenade of the Seas (this was the name of our ship via Royal Caribbean). I was so excited bc I had never been on a cruise be4 (let alone out of the country). After checking in, we went shopping in downtown and explored a bit. Jeremy and Ben and I ended up in the most shady bar I have ever been in, but all in all, it was good times. That night we set sail for St. Thomas and had our first dinner on board. It was really cool and I did not get sea sick at all.

St Thomas the next day was amazing. We went to a beach called Meghan's Bay and it is supposed to be one of the top ten beaches in the world. It was so peaceful and the water was crystal clear. It was a relaxing day of sun bathing and playing in the water followed by a formal dinner that night from which we got pictures (that are very cute I might add ;.) Later that night Ben and Jeremy and I went dancing and Julie had a bit too much to drink, but overall it was totally fun. I was in shock that they had a club on the top floor of the ship (like was there anything they didn't have here? lol) I made friends with the bartender so I didn;t have to pay for drinks - which was not good for my consumption rate, but whatever. hehehe.

The next day, we were St. Martine (I think that is how u spell it) and I was SO hung over. Nonetheless I pulled myself together and we went shopping all day. I bought little presents for all of my friends and had a real good time watching the boys buy tacky shirts for the Caribbean theme dinner that night. Again we went to the beach at the end of the day and then headed back to the ship. Dinner was a kick with everyone dressed for the theme. We took more pictures and had a good time (our servers were really nice people). That night we went to Karaoke and then to the casino to gamble. Again - good times.

Antigua was our third island and while scenic, the day was damped quite literally by the rain. Like always, we made the best of it. We all went on an island tour (and FYI when I say "we" I mean me, Jeremy, his dad - Bob, his dad's fiancee - Sue, Beth and Ben - his sis and Bro, his brothers gf, Julia, and Beth's best friend - Jen)and then had lunch and went to the beach. We spent the whole day in the ocean and Jeremy got stung by a jellyfish but he lived. hehehe. After this we headed back to the ship and went in the spa be4 dinner. Later that night, Jen and Beth and Jeremy and I went dancing and had fun. This time I was not so hammered and we actually stayed until the club closed.

Island number 4 was St. Lucia (again, SP?) and we went to the beach for most of the day with Beth and Jen. Again, it was a beautiful day. We took some awesome pictures and then went back to the ship and chilled in the spa/watched the sunset. Wow - that was indescribable. Talk about a memory I will keep with me forever. You would have to see it to understand what I mean - it's like watching heaven and earth merge in an oray of color. That night was more low-key. We had dinner and Jeremy played against some people in a poker tournament (I played too but lost right away).

The last place we went was Barbados on Christmas. :-) This island was one of my favorites. We got up early so that we could really enjoy the beach. We had to be back at the ship everyday by 4:30/5:00 so it was always a push to get out there on time. We went to this beautiful beach and spent the day swimming and taking pictures and sun bathing. Later, Jeremy and I rented a wave runner and blasted arround for a half an hour. It was so much fun!! We had lunch right off the beach, then watched a man with about 4 teeth sell Dr. Bob aloe shaved directly from the plant into an empty Jack Daniels Bottle. lol. Later that night was Christmas dinner and again we were all dressed up. This night was special bc Ben asked Julia to marry him. I almost cried - it was really cool to be present for that. Later we went to Karaoke finals and then played some cards for fun and headed to the midnight buffet (Oh and Ben won best male in the Karaoke finals - yaya BEN!). After getting our grub on yet again, we went to bed and slept in bc the last day was spent on the boat sailing back to PR. We sunbathed that day and swam in the pool. It was very relaxing and fun to reflect on all that we had done the past week.

The 27th, we all checked out of our rooms and went back to walk around downtown San Juan until our flights. I flew home to Sacramento all day by myself, but again, I had plenty to think about/write about.

Since the trip I have been hanging out at home with friends and catching up with my family. My sis is in New York until Sat (lucky girl) but she will be home soon. New Years was fun times, but it was kindda weird to be out with DJ and my other friends and watch him with another girl. I am happy for him, but you guys know how I am when it comes to that stuff. I thought it would be easier to witness than it was once all was said and done. Nonetheless, it has been good to see him and Trace and Jason since I have been back. It's cold and rainy here -so different.

Well it's time for a little X-MEN II so I will wrap this up. I'll be back in LA on the 7th late. I can't believe how fast this break past and that the highly anticipated trip has come to pass. It was definately something I'll never forget. :-)

Until later....
Ciao Peoples!
