Happy Turkey Day to ALL :-)
So I am home in Sacramento right now for the holiday and I am having a great time with my family. I spent most of the day Wed. just hanging out with them and catching up; then we all had dinner together and went for a long walk "un fare passageta" (my Italian homework came home with me too). It was awesome. The colors on my street are amazing right now. That is one thing about Nor-Cal - we may have a lot of cows but we ALSO have seasons! hehehe... the trees in the front yard are gorgeous and the lawn is covered in reds, golds, and yellows. It smells like fire in the air and when I get out of bed in the morning there is a thick layer of frost covering everything. It was 31 degrees this morning (if it was supposed to rain today it would have snowed). You all know how much I hate to be cold, but it is the best thing in the world when u can sit by the fire and read and drink hot chocolate with ur mom sitting next to you on the couch.
I guess I am just thankful today to be with my family... I really do love them and realize how lucky I am to have such a nice place to come home.
It was also great to see my best friend yesterday (even though he swore he would be too busy.. lol) He and I always manage to have a good time..
