I probably ought to update since I have been here now for about 5 days and I haven't said anything. But I have hardly had a chance today-it has been non-stop training and moving myself in. But it has been fantastic. Training went well and it was a good time. Yesterday was hard, but extremely satisfying and I had a wonderful time. I got to meet a load of new students and helped them out and really felt that the work was beginning to pay off. I'm just glad to be back and in the swing of things. I need to hit the ground running when school starts. I am determined to do well this semester-it's not an option to not do well. And then the returning students are coming on Monday which should be good as well. It will help make the campus feel a bit more whole. But the time with the new students only should be fun as well. I remember last year that those 3 days were the best time because it was just us on campus. Today is inner harbor time and Java Jazz at night. Should be a good time. I have a lot to think about and it's unfortunately not all wonderful and that makes me a bit frustrated. But I also feel like it's important stuff to work through and that is good. We are all continuing to grow and that can sometimes be a difficult process. The only thing that I know I can continue to do is learn from each situation and take what I can from it. And so while each situation is not always positive, there is usually something positive to pull from it. Ok, enough of this serious crap. Moving on. I'm excited to do more orientation stuff and just continue the fun!! :)
