Well. (Yes, I know, deep subject.) This week has been kinda craptastic for me. I'm sorry I haven't been around all that much, but I hope y'all have had an excellent week so far. ♥
This morning (YAY, THURSDAY.) I had a little extra change rolling around my tote bag (this is not exactly a usual occurance, especially lately), and I also had a few minutes before I planned to be at work since I left the house extra early due to imminent storming. Anyhow, I stopped at Starbucks, and let me tell you, there are some rude people trying to get their cups of coffee early in the AM. So I was starting to feel defeated again, and then I was like, you know what, I don't have to let other people set my mood, and the person in the car behind me seemed to be in a hurry but wasn't being rude about it. I don't know how I thought I knew this, being as I couldn't even see inside the windshield, but the person gave his or her order very quickly at the menu/intercom thingy and moved up behind me in line without grazing my bumper, so that is what I'm basing my assumptions upon. At the window, I requested a fork for my lemon pound cake, gratefully reached for my bright and cheery cup of iced tea lemonade, and asked if I could pay for the order behind me as well. I watched one of those episodes of Oprah years ago where she pays for the person behind her at toll booths, you know? But they don't have toll roads in TN (for which I'm very grateful, though it means I can't pay other people's tolls), so instead, I bought a *looks at ticket* grande coffee frapp for the person in the black Buick Lesabre after me today, and it felt really good. :D
I love y'all, and since location constraints pretty much guarantee I can't buy your morning treat for you this morning, is there anything else I can do? Send a song file? Give out virtual hugs? Tell you why I think you're awesome? Make a corny joke (Hez?) Hum tunelessly in a voicepost? Tap dance?
And since I really enjoyed passing on the happy (at least I hope that's what happened; for all I know, he or she may have been very upset at not being able to spend his or her own $3.42), let us continue:
