Another day of Jason being online only while I'm on the phone with a customer for half an hour, and having to leave for work about 2 minutes before I get off the phone. Damn the man. Or rather, Damn that Faith and Christy. Anyway

Because it's only $2 to rent the book on tape for a week. ;)

my mom used to listen to books on tape a lot when she was doing housework.

bargain! But it would still take 5 times as long as reading it I reckon.. I haven't listened to a book in ages - I used to borrow them from the library to listen to when I drove back to parent's place - it's a 3 hour trip and boring a buggery when I'm on my own. There's nothing but sheep to look at the whole way. I don't think there's anywhere in Australia you can pay to rent a taped book (or an ordinary book for that matter).. the only place you can borrow them is a library for free but they rarely have anything good.

Yeah, I was really suprised and excited when I saw them available for rent. It was the first time I had ever seen such a thing.
