Children's TV
I don't really have much to say here; I have so little interaction with children that I don't know much about what TV exists for them these days. I'm a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but I only found out about it from the internet. I only really was able to get into it because the Bronies made it so widely available on YouTube. I have computer screens available way more than I have a TV available.
When I was the age to watch children's TV, I watched a few of the "standards." Animaniacs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Muppet Babies top the immediate memories. I also figure I have this Voltron knowledge from watching the show, even if I don't remember it much. Popular shows that I have seen very little of include Gargoyles and Batman: The Animated Series, and I've never seen a single episode of Spongebob Squarepants.
The only time I ever saw any Teletubbies was in a hospital coming out from under anesthesia after surgery to reset a broken leg and nose from a car accident. Let me reiterate: Teletubbies while coming out from anesthesia. To date the freakiest thing I have ever experienced, what with the baby sun and the weird language and strange imagery.
