Repo second recap
This'll be quick - it's time to head to Arisia!
Repo last night was awesome yet again. I love being in a crowd that gets so worked up over something. I caught a lot of things in the movie I hadn't previously that made it flow better, too. No amazing shouts from me this time, though a bunch of people now stole my line-of-awesome from last time. And there were a few awesome new ones from the crowd, too.
Unfortunately it's hard for me to gauge how awesome my outfit was because I pretty much walked in and walked straight into someone wearing a version that involved about 10x the amount of money I put into mine. Hers was NOT borrowed boots and sewn-by-hand feathers, and it looked amazing and pwned me completely. So all sense of my badassery just kind of melted away - I mean, sure I still looked good, but not like THAT. But don't worry, I still got pictures and I will share them. (And when I went up to Terrance, the writer, in the lobby, he still immediately knew which character I was and was enthused by my prepwork. So there ya go.) I think I'll be wearing it Sunday night at Arisia for the Repo showing then, but not doing Masquerade with it. As I said, sense of badassery gone.
Heading off to Arisia now. Today I'm working Info Desk from 12-4, then taking a little break, and then in the evening.. I'd like to have time off to enjoy the Circus Dance and other fun things, but I HAVE NO VOLUNTEERS COVERING INFO DESK. Growl. So I might be stuck there instead. Come say hi!
