new icon -
First of all, the new icon I got from Lauren/JoantheImperialSlayer on the MR board. It's pretty nifty, and I am glad she posted it - thanks to her.
It is pretty dang cold here! I guess parts of the state got a little snow last night, although I didn't see any yet.
I have a busy afternoon, so I am messing around on the computer now while I have the time. Lost another half pound when I weighed in this week - I am now down 22 pounds, and am very happy about it, and proud of myself :-)
I have to pick Eric up at school at 2 PM, take him to the dentist, then on to Comcast for a shoot with Lynn and the gang, pick Ron up at work and then on to a rehearsal with the band. We are playing this Saturday night for a party/dance in northwestern CT, and it should be a lot of fun. We need to run through the playlist tonight, though. We also are playing for another dance/fundraiser next Saturday night, plus one more at the end of November, along with the NOMAD Festival stuff. Busy, busy.
I really enjoy AtS last night, and not just because of Nekkid!Spike. I loved the interaction between Angel and Spike, and between Spike and Fred, who I see as forming a wonderful friendship. Spike needs a friend, after all he's been through, even moreso than a lover - and I say that even with the Spuffy feelings I now have. That 'ship is never going to sail for me, okay? And James was, once again, fabulous - I like Steve DeKnight's writing for Spike. He has a good grasp of the character, IMHO.
Still hoping to hear something about James coming to MR - I have my toes and fingers crossed for good news on that front. I want Gamiila and Cass to get to meet him (and I won't mind seeing him again, and this time, getting a hug, dammit!!)
