Ok I will give a basic rundown of the situation thus far. My gun truck was hit on December 17 at night near Bayji, Iraq. I was the truck commander, riding in the passenger seat. Chad! I am so glad that you are coming home! I have been so worried about you since I heard that you were injured. How long will your stay at home be?

Awwwww... you care! I'm so surprised! :p
I will be home for one month.
AND
The doctor saw me this morning. He took my splint off and looked at my foot. He said the skin is doing great and everything is healing as it should be. He is going to come and check it out again on Monday, and he plans on sending me home next weekend. Yes. Next weekend for a month. YAY. I'm excited.

It means I will be coming back to Texas, but I'm hoping to only be here for a week or so before going home to work full time at the reserve center.
