Soooo I AM DONE WITH VALIDATION! Validation is the rigorous training process that reserve and national guard units have to complete before deploying to Iraq. Also alcohol is strictly forbidden durring the proccess... and after the 14th I will be allowed to experience the sweet sweet taste of liquor on my lips again. YAY!
soo we have had some interesting times durring the training process, to include a certain element of boredom at times when the senior leadership has been trying to work out organizational issues. On one such day we were training in the motor pool, and me and my buddy Specialist Pyne were sitting on the ground bored, so we started stacking small rocks. Then we built a pyramid. Then we got particularly zealous and built a freestanding arch. It was our pride and joy, the benchmark of our prestigous mason careers. Until its tragic end... SFC Braman came walking up, and upon seeing our great creation, addressed us... "Did I tell you it is playtime? Who told you it was playtime!" and proceeded to bring our pride and joy plunging to the ground in one sweeping kick. Shes mean. However, before she was able to destroy the product of our labors, Pyne managed to preserve its legacy forever. With my face behind it. With my freaky moustache... and here I share it with you.
