Today I purchased The Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots". Wow. In case you haven't heard this album, do. If you had, go listen to it again right now

i dont know whether to be flattered or offended, but here goes regardless, favourites of the moment, in no particular order:
neutral milk hotel - in the aeroplane over the sea/on avery island the unicorns - who will cut out hair when were gone? architecture in helsinki - fingers crossed jets to brazil - perfecting loneliness apples in stereo - tone soul evolution devendra banhart - niño rojo/oh me oh my sufjan stevens - greetings from michigan belle and sebastian - dear, catastrophe waitress tilly and the wall - wild like children camera obscura - under achievers please try harder
Wow, I don't even know like half those albums (and I'm a pretentious indie bitch, meaning a. you're even more pretentious, or b. they suck; probably the first, though). Sufjan Stevens, NMH, and The Unicorns are the shit. However, I'd say "Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant" is a much better B&S album.
its just that i am also a pretentious indie bitch. were just pretentious because of some different bands; im sure you could list a bunch of albums i dont know. and regardless, neutral milk, sufjan, and the unicorns are reason enough to look down on practically everyone.
psh, bitch please. dear, catastrophe waitress and if youre feeling sinister are both better that fold your hands.
