I think when you die its something like a really pleasant night-time stroll during a heavy summer rain without a jacket on and a sobering cup of coffee at hand. And I think Bob Dylan's version of the Byrds' song "Mr. Tambourine Man" is the background music. This, however, is just a guess.
This weekend in retrospect:
On friday night I went over to the Hoff's house and watched "Mean Girls" with Mary, Taylor, and Sam. Saturday was consumed by my world history group project, but we presented monday and got that fucker out of the way. Sunday night I watched Pink Floyd's "The Wall" for the first time in over a year. That movie is so trippy, my mind was reeling.
Monday Dane, Zach, and I went bowling. Zach perfected the technique of lobbing the ball a good 6 feet into the air to come crashing down 10 feet down the lane. He hit all 10 pins to get a spare several times as well. By the way, Dollar Tree closes at 9 p.m. Sad.
Today I took a nap. It was beautiful.
The only thing that could improve Simon and Garfunkel's masterpiece "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme" is if "Sounds of Silence" appeared on it. It's really that damn good. Something everyone ought to hear at least once in their life.
