The idea that Sam has become Lucifer's cage, I love it. All the hope and the love Dean has, the way that Bobby's trying to help even while he's starting to get scared himself, the way Sam comes back to Dean and he needs to touch him, his speaking Enochian - I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this and love it. It's thoughtful and so lovely.

I'm rather enamored with the thought of Sam speaking foreign languages (and psychic powers, and wing!fic, and insanity, and twisted brotherliness, and yeah, this whole thing was pretty self-indulgent, ngl). Your comment makes me sincerely happy. :)

I think self-indulgence is one of the better points of writing in fandom, because we have so many others who understand how to do that well and share it:) Be nice if a lot of pro-writers could do it this well, if you ask me.

Anyway, to me this doesn't read self-indulgent at all, just very intense. It makes me care.
