- I went to see Scream 4 with my sister, melding of our childhoods and whatnot. It was okay; I wasn't expecting much, and, most importantly, it ended up being free. The center of the screen was yellow, unrelentingly yellow. We went to the manager at the end (and my sister had mentioned it to someone during the movie, so we weren't total jackasses waiting til the end of the movie to complain) and he says, "Yeah, I know, I watched it the other day. No idea why it's yellow." Um, okay, thanks for the free passes and all, but -- if you KNOW it's fucked up, why keep showing it like nothing's wrong? Whatever. F-R-E-E.
- It was nice out today, so I washed my car. IDEK why I bother, because I spent probably an hour or so on it, and it ends up looking streaky. I dried it off, but there were still areas where it looked like I missed something. Still looks better than it did, but also still annoying.
- TV. House is depressing... and if I read something TPTB have said, sometimes infuriating. As
rockcandy83 pointed out, I am BLESSED with the OMG!MASTERS ep on my birthday; as I re-pointed out, at least it'll most likely be a CFB promo for my birthday? I woke up late (way late) last Monday for work, and as such, never set up my computer to tape 7x18; somehow, I lived. My House depression has led to new shows, namely: The Good Wife. I caught an episode a few weeks ago when I came home from work and my parents were watching it. So, I did something completely unorthodox for me -- I actually watched. I watched current s2 episodes without seeing s1. Rectified that by buying the first season on DVD; I finished is last night. Now I've got to watch all of the s2 episodes I did not watch. Really love it, though. Josh Charles as Cliff Will Gardner is like Dan Rydell in another, more lawyerly life. Alicia, Kalinda, Diane... plenty of kick-ass female characters to enjoy. Do want.
Parks & Recreation continues to be my Happy Place. There's no way to not be giddy after watching that show. Nurse Jackie, I'm kind of getting tired of Jackie basically lying and getting out of things all the time. I'm also watching The Borgias, which is great, but -- why does everyone have an English accent, even if they're Spanish or Italian? This is how I felt about The Tudors, too. My dad told me, "It's television?" and I reject that logic.
- Tumblr. I has one:
getwhatyouneed. I made the account before "Bombshells" aired; it has taken me exactly this long to tweak it and such. Might even start posting things, hopefully on a faster timetable. Hit me with yours so I can follow you like a creeper.
