Things that have bothered me in the last few days.
credit cards- I've probably mentioned this before but credit cards are really frustrating. I happen to have ONE card and its linked to my mom who is the primary account holder. Well I've been paying the bills for the last 4-5 months because I charged my laptop purchase to it and planned on paying it off before December. Well there are these micellaneous charges that have appeared on the card which I have been paying that neither one of us intentionally signed up for. I called to cancel these charges in July but no, they still appear. So I had my mom call the credit card company and they did some cancelling but told us we had to call one number- which my mother put on me. WELL, I called- Its Friday 5:30pm and the number is only available M-F 9AM-8PM and basically the woman shut me out because I'm not the primary account holder.
calculus I literally hate this class and I don't know why I'm in it. I'm struggling a lot but i'm not surprised because I havent had a challenging math class since 9th grade. I was lucky enough to dodge the good teachers at satellite with all the homework. Coasted in Col Alg/Trig only to find myself dying in calc. And everyone else in the class seems to be doing just fine. Today we had to work on problems in groups, but our whole class acts independantly so we rarely talked. I don't want to seem like I'm copying them but Im really slow paced with these lab assignments. So I worked through about most of the first problem on my own paper, and so did the other girl in our group and the other guy worked on number 2. well he decided we could use the other girls paper as the submission paper. So she finished most of number 1 (i helped her with parts and she helped me with others) and the boy wrote down his number two. Then he hands me the paper and told me to write the last part so it looked like contributed (but he said it in sort of a condescending way) Got under my skin, he was probably annoyed why I asked so many questions. Im just looking forward to veterans day, thanksgiving and then i dont have to take classes like this anymore.
But on a brighter note...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEREK! 22YEARS AH!
