This is the most amazing place i've ever been. I've never been out of the country, and so never experienced anything very different. This. is. so. different. I'm completely out of my mind in a good way, very jet-lagged, a little nauseous, everything is spinning and terrifying and exciting.
I was almost creamed by a car last night while walking around, the sidewalks here are non-existant in neigborhoods, and drivers are NUTZ! All those jokes about asians not being able to drive? true in america, but on their own turf, they are out of control, streets are sooo narrow and they have to share them with pedestrians in many places and bicycles and motorcycles and cars coming the other way but theres only room for one and a half cars? what?
classes start monday, and a typhoon is supposed to hit soon. I have a shutterfly account which i will be posting pictures on, i will list it on my lj user info page when it has content.
