Trip to Buenos Aires was great, and I already want to go back. What? It's normal!
This time I didn't even buy a whole lot of things, but I love every single thing I bought. Let me just say it's very strange to shop in a country that accepts not one, or two, but three currencies. Sure, not all shops/places accepted Pesos, Dollars *and* Reais, but the fact was that some did, so we never knew which money to take with us, and the whole exchange calculations throughout the day made my brain hurt.
Other than that, the trip was awesome, and Buenos Aires is very pretty, and really, really cold. People from Brazil, especially from Rio, like yours truly, simple are not sartorially prepared to feeling that cold. But the days were gorgeous, and despite the cold wind trying to burn us alive, we walked throughout the city, found amazing places, and yes, I wanna go back there already. Except, maybe in September or something, in milder weather days.

I arrived in Rio at a little after midnight on Sunday (well, technically Monday already), and just managed to get home at 4 in the morning. Having to wake up at 7 to go to work was not pretty. Nor was the whole week, to be honest, as I never really got to catch up with sleep, and work was crazier than usual, mostly due to one of the bosses being absent because her dad's in the hospital in critical condition.
Add to that a whole lot of deadlines, a new lawyer that's just started working there, and this last week being the last one of one of my favourite interns, that left us on Friday to work with Intellectual Property Law. I'll miss her fiercely, she's adorable and good at her job and a kindred fangirl spirit. Oh, well, I forbade her to disappear, so let's see if we'll manage to keep in touch.
After a very emotionally exhausting week, yesterday I had my hair cut again (I really love my short hairdo!), and... did nothing, really. Today was even better: half of it was spent in bed, sleeping and/or reading fics in kindle.
Then I had to pack again, as my parents are going to Minas tomorrow, and I'm meeting them on Tuesday. See, because of the World Conference Rio+20 being held at, well, Rio (duh), traffic will be a little more chaotic than usual this week (to be fair, it already is since last week), so no public organs will work from Wednesday to Friday, and that includes the Judiciary System. And that means that the office will be closed also, if all things go accordingly to the plan (please, all things, go accordingly to the plan). So hey, extra vacation time! I'm all over it.
