I was so, so, so fucking sick Thursday night that I actually missed work on Friday. I spend the whole night awake, feeling nauseous, and nothing made it go away.
I feel kind of terrible, because after months without missing work, I missed one day a couple of weeks ago to go to my grandfather's funeral, then last week I left early because I was feeling sick, and now Friday, when I felt sick again and couldn't leave the house. To make matters worse, on Thursday I had asked my boss for a free day so I could make some eye exams as ordered by my doctor.
Yes, I know, these were all emergency situations, but still. I feel bad.

So I want to take my vacation on June, right? I still need to talk with the boss about this (again, I feel awkward considering my missing work lately), but if I do get my vacation, I think I'll go to Miami.
I was planning to go to Buenos Aires and Santiago, but dad decided that going to Miami would be much better, and he says he'll help with expenses. Besides, considering I want to travel to shop, mostly, Miami might be a good call.

Speaking of shopping, thanks to all the help I got from you guys, I managed to pick the right shipping option when I did my online shopping. Things got to Utah right on time. Problem is, Fedex couldn't find the address my brother was in, and my two packages weren't delivered. So, really, all I wanted to buy -- rather, all I did buy? Didn't receive a thing. I'm kind of feeling really bad about this.
To make matters worse, Mum told my brother I wanted a MAC concealer, but didn't tell the details -- like, say, my fucking color. So my brother, genius that he is, bought a random one, and not only it wasn't the concealer I wanted (but that could be overlooked, really), it was too dark for me. It looks like I've had a really bad tan just around my eyes.
So now I have a MAC concealer that I can't use. It's probably going to make company to the MAC blush I have in duplicate (that happened when I asked my Dad to buy me a blush and a lipstick on the free shop, and my Dad thought, hey, it's not that expensive, I'm going to buy two -- in the same color; I gave the duplicate lipstick to my Mum, but she doesn't use blush, so there you go).
Lesson learned: don't ask men to buy makeup. No, really.
BUT! But my little brother did buy me an iTouch, not because I asked him to (I decided against it), but as a gift. So, you know. Yay. :D
my little brother,

i'm siiiiiiick,
capitalism yay!
