First of all, happy birthday
andreh! Lots of love and happiness, m'dear.*hugs*

It seems that I'm going to be using foobar for good. I've been doing so for a couple of weeks already and don't miss Winamp at all. Yay, me! I thought I was a creature of habits, but that will teach me.

I'm a little late on TV this week. Still need to watch The Mentalist (hah, I typed Mentalust), Stargate: Universe (I'm giving it a new chance to woo me), and Sanctuary (which I'm really really excited about, because it means Amanda back on my TV). But I did watch Glee and CSI:NY. Let me just tell you this: I liked Glee, a lot, and that's quite news for me (Rachel didn't bother me ONCE, and I loved Finn, in a "aw, poor loose-screwed boy" kind of way); as for CSI:NY, dude, what the hell was that? I still don't know what to think of it: whether it was bad or just silly.

Now explain something to me: why on earth one renews a show, starts shooting the new season, postpone the premiere for "more advertising", only to cancel it before even airing the episodes already shot?
Seriously. I mean, I confess I didn't think Southland was the best thing since bread came in slices, but I did think it was pretty damn good. Greatly written and brilliantly acted all around.
So, seriously. What the fuck?

Yay for Obama winning the Nobel Prize. I am a little doubtful about the timing, though, thinking perhaps it was too soon? Talk about great expectations (like he didn't have to deal with that already). But whatever, he deserves it.

So Brazil's national team of youngsters beat Germany in the U-20 World Cup in Cairo (they're so freaking young!) earlier today, Brazil's main national team plays tomorrow for the World Cup qualifying (though we're already qualified, so pffff), and currently my team is losing on TV. Also, there's Portugal's playing Hungary (and I never lose an opportunity to see Cristiano Ronaldo and mock his hair) and France's playing Feroe Islands (wot?).
All around, a football fulfilled weekend. Always a good thing, especially with this cold, rainy weather that seemed to have swallowed Rio.
*sigh*
