My allergies struck me with a surprised attack, and the consequence is that it killed me dead. Went to course only to bug everyone around me with my nonstop sniffing, decided to come back home early when the headache became too much, and now I'm here, in the afterlife (the internet connection is awesome; I *am* a little worried if it will still be when they decide to send me to heaven or hell; they're *ruminating*), taking allergy pills and painkillers and waiting for the world to become a better place. What?
So I decided to give up on Winamp for a while and try new things - it's not Winamp, you see, it's me. Well, no, actually it *is* Winamp: as I've mentioned, it stopped scrobbling, and I don't do music in computer without Last.fm anymore. So I ended up with
foobar2000 (good ol' fubá for us Brazilians) installed, a whole lot of time wasted trying to customize it and frustration at having such a awesomely customizable little (and very light too!) program and not being smart enough to do anything with it. Seriously, I feel like I'm missing out. But still, it's scrobbling perfectly, including my iPod songs, and for now it's enough.
[I'll probably go back to Winamp though, after enough time passes - it's not foobar, you see, it's me. Really this time.]
I had plans on making a music post, but that will have to wait until I install Photoshop in my computer, which I didn't yet. And yes, it totally makes sense. While that doesn't happen, I'll just do a meme I borrowed somewhere.
Sharing is Caring:
For one week, recommend / share:
Day 1: a song
Day 2: a picture
Day 3: a book/ebook/fanfic
Day 4: a site
Day 5: a youtube clip
Day 6: a quote
Day 7: whatever tickles your fancy
Asking me to recommend one song is just asking me to bitch about it, because I can never recommend just the one. But OK, I'll make an effort. It actually helps that I am still obsessed with
Patrick Wolf's The Bachelor, like, A LOT, and I know I already posted this here a while ago, but whatever, it's the song I want to recommend, OK? It ate my brain, IDEK!
[Besides, it's not like I don't have
loads of music up for grabs in my journal, anyways - and did you see what I just did here? Found a way to indirectly post more music, like, all stealthy and shit!]
And now excuse me while I go watch Castle. Yes, there's media resources in the afterlife too, I'm incredibly relieved.
