Right...
I watched
"Leverage's The Lost Heir Job, and unsurprisingly, I loved it. I *love* Leverage. LOOOOOOOOVE it. Even when it's not at its best (like some few episodes earlier in the season), it's still very fucking good. And you know why? Because the actors are great, the characters are awesome, and the humour always work. I could be highly entertained with Parker, Hardison and Eliot talking all day long. I love Nate's brilliancy. And even Sophie doesn't bother me much lately.
Well, that's not true; the whole "I need to find myself" crap is, well, crap. But I just don't pay much attention in this part, because it doesn't take much screen time, yes, but also because I know they're doing it because the actress is pregnant. I have full confidence that she will be back to normal next season. And if they tone down the "Sophie/Nate" storyline, like they did in the beginning of the season, it will be awesome.
So yeah, I love Leverage. Sometimes it's even not all that fresh and the plots are predicable, but it's still amusing as hell. And I love Hardison. Have I mentioned that already? Because I really do. He could very well be my most favourite character on TV right now.

I also watched
Glee's Showmance. Well, actually, I rewatched the pilot, and then watched Showmance. Tissa helped - I don't think I'd have watched it if I didn't have cheerleading. I wanted to give it another try, but I think that my original impression was right: albeit very good and snarky, the show is really not my cup of tea. And as I said, it's not that it's a musical, but that it's High School. I hate High School shows, because I roll my eyes so much while watching it that I always end up with a headache by the end. Not to mention that High School shows are big on the whole embarrassing thing, and damn but I hate embarrassment - *I* feel embarrassed for the characters, so there's usually a lot of cringing.
It helps that I'm not crazy about the main character - even if I don't dislike her, Rachel sounds too silly for me to like. And she sings like a diva, which I really hate. I like the adults more than the kids, to be honest - with the exception of the wife and the coach, but that's intended that way. I do confess that I find Finn adorably dumb - I don't usually like dumb characters, but he's endearing, and he looks like a good kid, so I have a soft spot on him. I could possibly grow a crush if I keep watching. Possibly.
But about the episode: I don't know much of the songs (just the old ones, no surprise there), and I had never heard of the rap song, but I loved the teacher doing rap and actually changing his accent while doing that - you can't enunciate rap, you have to slur it! The "Push It" act was a little embarrassing. The music act by the end was silly. But Kurt is cool. As is Sue (I keep waiting for her to curl her moustache and laugh evilly, though). And have I already mention that I don't know most of the songs? That probably helps in the whole "it didn't do anything for me" department. And it's not like I even like the songs to begin with. Whatever.
I might still watch the next episodes. Who the hell know? It might grow on me, though I'm sceptical.

I finally caught up with
In Plain Sight too, and have just watched the finale now. I am... incredibly insulted by how bad it was, actually. Ugh. I almost turned it off half way through it. It's an episode in which the victim is odious, and the main character almost isn't in it because she was shot. And oooooh, cliffhanger - right, as if they'll kill Mary. The only good thing about the whole disaster was Marshall, but again, what else is new?
It was actually a bigger let down because I quite enjoyed the previous two episodes. It's been good, and then... just wasn't anymore. And coming back to the odious victim of the week, I mean, it's not even like I expect accuracy (the CIA wants to help revolutionary people in South America to make a coup d'état against a dictator... writers, check you History books: it's the other way around!), but did they really want me to believe that Mary - sharp, street smart Mary - actually *like* that horrible, manipulative woman? Right. In your dreams.

And look at that. It's the most I've written about TV in quite a while. I'm as shocked as you are.
