I'm going to have an ulcer by the end of the night, no joke
Yay for election day! But boo for the constant stressed out feeling that's now seeped into my bones. I really really really want Obama to win and am terribly afraid that McCain's going to make a complete surprise finish. I've seen the polls, I'm going to leave work early to vote, and I've read all the commentary I can handle...all I really want now are the results.
I know I've OD'd on election news when I went to check the weather on weather.com and nearly jumped out of my seat when I saw their feature on "impactful weather and the election."
I am, however, over the moon at all the turnout that's been seen so far in my area. We hit abotu 30% voter turnout at 10 AM!! And my state doesn't have early voting, so that's a good sign for the rest of the day. We aren't exactly a toss-up state, but I love seeing people so involved.
