Shock! im updating again... so soon! yeah yeah....
well so i started school on sat.. yes sat.. i have a sat. morning class, childrens literature, which i think is going to be an awesome class.. so excited for it. first of all i love books to begin with, and when i was a child i swear i read more then 300 books, not exagerating. i was one of those loner kids. but anyways all this stuff is right up my ally, kids and books together... fun fun. plus i had the teacher last semester for eng.102 and she was great. i also know 3 people in the class, which surprised me. 2 people i work with and one girl from h.s., kelly burns.
i went to my psych. class today. should be fun. i know the teacher although ive never had her. i use to watch her kid at the daycare center. but ive heard a lot of good things about her teaching, and from what ive heard today i think itll be fun. also my joeys in the class with me :) first time ever to have a class together. he thinks our teachers a little flaky though, but thats ok... you can have a good teacher whos flaky, right?
tomorrow i go to my native americain traditions class. excited for that since i am into native americain infomation... partial because some of my familys history is there. heard lots of good things about this teacher, his class filled up pretty fast too.
behavior mangement is my last class...learning how to discipline kids and stuff. dont start that til thursday. not sure if im going to enjoy the class or not. prolly just be ok. one the people that i work with is taking the class also.
i also went to buy my books today. not to bad, only 205. but the best part is one of the mothers from my center works at the bookstore and told me to bring in my receipt tomorrow and she will give me a 10 percent discount off of what i already paid. so i should be getting like 20 bucks back... good stuff.
so thats been the highlight of my week so far... school starting. also been trying to figure out who that psyco person is that keeps leaving me comments but i have a feeling hes done talking to me... oh well.
also been having a wanting to leave westland for a weekend or so... maybe go up north soon. church people have been asking me to go to tenn. with them for a youth rally. prolly wont go, cost money and id miss my sat. class and at least one, maybe two, days of work.
oh yeah that reminds me... i was out two days for jury duty. lucky me got stuck on the jury. on wed. i just sat in the jury assembly room from 8 til 1:30.. yeah i know, 5 and a half hours of nothing. started a book and watched two movies. then they called 42 of us to go to this court room. out of the 42 they picked 14 to be on the jury. lucky me. started the case that day, finsihed it the next day. it was about this 21 year old guy having sex with a 13 year old girl. he was trying to deny it, found him guilty. we only deliberated for an hour about it. pretty fast. i guess it really wasnt all that bad, an interesting experience but i cant honestly say i dont want to do it again. it takes up so much time. i made around 75 dollars but im still waiting for the check to arrive....
so im sure you all are like whoa... long entry... and prolly bored with some of it but you read it so its your fault if your bored with it. anyways im done now... finally.
