the time has come

I have been more productive in the last few days than I have been in that last few months. Geesh! I totally feel like I'm on the show 'Starting Over'. I've had so much motivation and have begun going through my things and cleaning and getting rid of old stuff and organizing, and....a lot.
I've been taking this supplements of Flax Seed, they are like gel tabs, and they are supposed to supress appetite and give energy and help lose weight, plus they have like a good amount of omega-3 or something. Anyway, I totally think they are working. I have lost 5 pounds in like the last two weeks. And I haven't been working out, I've just been doing stuff. Constantly busy. I also stopped eating before I go to bed and I haven't been eating out nearly as much. It's all adding up. Hooray!
I hope things continue in this fashion, especially once my summer class starts. Maybe this will be the most motivated for school I've ever been!
I don't know what the change has been. Maybe it's the end of winter or the motivation of getting ready to move somewhere other than here or maybe it's the flax seed. Who knows, but whatever it is, it's awesome!
I still have a lot to do as far as going through stuff and organizing, but I have a good start.
I am currently in the middle of like 3 books and I just went to the library with work tonight and checked out 3 more. Like I will even get through one of them, haha. They just all seemed so interesting that I HAD TO HAVE THEM. Like they won't be there the next time I go. One's a memoir called "Another Bullshit Day in Suck City" about a guy who's mom committed suicide when he was like 8 or something and his dad lives in a homeless shelter and he doesn't even meet his dad until he's 27. Should prove a good read.
The second is called "Urban Tribes". It's written by a guy who starts researching why he isn't in a relationship or married or anything and discovers that he has a family in his friends and they form a sort of tribe. Then he starts realizing that there are 'urban tribes' all over.
The third I can't remember the name. But it's about how counterculture has basically become or fueled consumerism or something. I'll find out more when I read it, if I get that far.
Ok, enough is enough. Oh, did I mention that I've been up since 7:30 this morning? That has to be a new record and I haven't even napped! wowsa, what's going on?haha.
