sigh of relief

My breakfast = veggie sticks with japanese mayo mixed with hot sauce and a piece of cheddar cheese.

ah - finally... the weekend arrives! This week was rough in many different aspects, but I've somehow come out alive. My neck is tight from some unordinary stresses, but I plan to work those kinks out tonight (I am hoping for a long personal yoga session).

Broadcast is tonight, but I'm skipping it this week too. Braden King (one of the residents of Broadcast updated the broadcast website, using my flyer designs, and he just blew us all away with his skills:
New Broadcast website
He even gave me a shout out at the bottom of the page...that's so cool :)

So I wasn't planning on buying anything this weekend, but since I saw a recommendation of an Ashtanga DVD in the yoga community, I've been searching for it. I can't tell if Borders carries this DVD, but I have a 25% off coupon of a DVD (at Borders) - and I am thinking I will make a trek today... but we'll see - there's a part of me that just wants to clean my place, and chill all day.

I have so many projects and hobbies I started, and I just need to dedicate more time to them.

1. Knitting: I am almost done with my First knitting project: a garter stitch multi colored scarf.
yes, yes, I know it has taken me a couple months already. I just haven't had enough time. But it's finally coming to an end - and I can move forward with a new project after this :)

2. Sashiko: japanese quilting : riiigghhht.... I have all the supplies ready to start..perhaps tonight?

3. Painting: Ry and I have both started painting (on stretched canvas). We like the simpleness of using acrylics. It's neat to see our different styles and creative perceptions expressed through color.

4. Home Improvements: Well, we've managed to paint half our living space. I think we need some more color by our dining table, but otherwise I like it as it is. we've used a nice mellow taupe as a backdrop to our wall that separes the living space from our bedroom. we need more paint to continue though...
