We've been on a roll lately - fixing up our place :)
We purchased a pair of new vanity lights for our 2 bathrooms. the old ones were cheap brass/gold color. hideous, really :P
This is what we got:
We have also painted our livingroom, and we're contemplating painting more. But we're starting with less color and adding more as we go along - that way we don't 'over do' abything like we did in detroit (wine red in the den was a bit much for the prospective house buyers).
Eventually we will change out the bathroom fixtures. Right now it is a scary mix of chrome and gold (yikes). we found a good deal at ikea for a nickel-finished set.
Today is a chill day - thought about going to the pride festival, but just thinking about the parking hassles made Ry cringe... so we are going out tonight to catch jay-j from SF. niice :)
Ry has the 24/7 'watch' tomorrow - he is basically on stand-by to help support any ships out at sea with server/network issues.
