My 2nd favorite time of the week is Friday night. (Saturdays are my ultimate.)
Had a tedious work week... very busy. Tons of client work, and some major WROC department orders to finish. My inbox has piled up like what. I really needed to get more done before I left, but I was pretty much done after slaving away on those product binders and PDF Library all day.
I know I've been slacking on the updates for a while - life's just been hectic, and I'm trying to spend less time on the computer when I get home because my lovely iMac has magical powers and it lures me to sit infront of its monitor for hours on end. Not that that's a bad thing because I love internet culture, but I've been really interested to pursue other hobbies right now, like.... yes, you guessed it - knitting, reading (I have 3 books I started and haven't had time to finish), and playing golf (yes, I know it sounds totally lame, but I actually find it fun-plus Ry plays, and it is even more fun to play along with him).
Ry called me this morning and asked me to keep my day/evening open. He had a surprise for me, and basically said he is taking me out on a date (yay!) Turns out, he won tickets to see the Padres vs Mariners at the PETCO park! The best part is we had seats in the Toyota Terrace. No lines in the bathroom, and conscession stands everywhere - AND ordering and delivery service to your seats. pretty dope :)
The Padres lost, but it was fun anyways.
...But oh what I would give to watch NHL games here.
I started working out on our eliptical machine this week. it's about time - Ryan always gives me a hard time about not using it, since I asked him to get it for me for Xmas. I need to try to get on it 2 times a week. That would be a good start. Afterwards I did about 40 minutes of yoga - which was amazing, and just from that session, my shoulders weren't tight for 2 days afterwards. ahh the wonderful benefits of yoga. I miss those days of just teaching.
We are now chillin at home :)
oh - I FINALLY washed my car! (I was SO embarassed to have
Kevin see my car in such a dirty state.) Honestly, I don't think I ever washed my car since we got it last September. Then last month Ryan ran it through a 'touchless' wash, and .... haha... it literally didn't do anything for my car. it was just so dirty.
Anyways, this morning, I was heading to my car, and I had to stop and check twice that it was mine, cause it looked completely different (it actually had lustre!) ;)
enjoy being, everyone :)
