So I'm going back to Geneseo tomorrow. I have a train out of Penn Station in the morning, and then a 7 hour trip westward.

I'm not so much annoyed to be going back to school (because, to be honest I'm such a nerd I'm really looking forward to my Brit Lit class with Asher). But this seven hour commute is really fraying my nerves. Just thinking about it makes me wish I could blink and just be there already.

At least I don't have to work on Monday, thanks to MLK day. Instead I get to stand in line for hours for textbooks and then work on the DHr awards site. Ick.

I went out Thursday night instead of tonight because if I see my friends 24hrs before I go back, I don't think I'll be able to leave. God I'm going to miss them so much. Not that I don't miss them every time, but leaving gets harder and harder each time. I get to come home in March for a week and then the next time I'm back home it's for summer, so I'm just going to keep thinking that.

Also, Surendra has forgiven me for the, uh, incident that happened on his birthday, so we're cool.

I can't wait for all the good TV shows to start back. I miss Heroes and Prison Break so much. And secretly Gilmore Girls.

EDIT: I'm such a scatterbrain. I completely forgot to mention the following:

I loved Alpha Dog! The only thing that irked me was that we never found out what happened to Ben Foster's character. He just disappeared from the screen and never showed up again. I know they kept it rather close to the actual events, but it's still a movie, damnit, and I expect closure. I can't wait to get it on DVD.

Happily N'ever After was okay, but I regret spending $7.50 on it. It's something I'd watch on the Disney Channel when I'm bored, but not something worth going out of your way to see.

However, Children of Men is simply made of awesome! It was amazing; sad and devastating but still humorous and ultimately uplifting. (Also, re:flipflops, revolutions aren't easy.) Also, when Julian got shot, I was so shocked. I was totally not expecting for her to die. Which only made the movie even better. Oh, and Patrick? Funniest thing ever. Farrah and I couldn't stop laughing when he was running after the car.
