It sounds like things are working out well, even if it's taken a lot of work to get to the position you're in now. It's great to hear the job itself is enjoyable and that you're settling into your new place.
It's difficult moving back into Sydney after you've been out a while, I'm getting a little freaked out about the prospect of doing so myself (when I finish study at the end of May). If I manage to scramble back there we totally need to catch up!
Thanks for the tip on "Laid" BTW. I knew Micallef had a bit in it but I only managed to catch the first episode before exams and crap swallowed me up whole. I'll have to grab it on DVD or torrent it when it's done or something because I did enjoy the first episode and I can never have enough Micallef dohoho.

The new apartment is quite grand, and across the road from a whole bunch of awesome food outlets. Although the neighborhood appears to be fairly rough at night, I haven't had any problems at this juncture.
