I have favourites. A lot of them.
I swear to Tego, no one makes me wibble quite as hard as Uchi.
I don't cry over these things. I don't cry when these boys cry. I don't (...except when Koyama or Massu cry, but who DOESN'T instantly turn to mush, seeing that? Bless 'em). But Uchibear, you're killing me with your sweetness and genuineness and gratefulness and making me invent words all over the place and I totes choked up AND NO ONE WAS EVEN SINGING DREAMS AND BUTCHERING THE LYRICS AT THE TIME D:<
He's not just chipping away at the glass ceiling anymore, now he's, like, taking a sledgehammer to it.
(Uchi all brawn and manly with a sledgehammer, imagine that. It's like Shige skateboarding or something, I can't picture it without dying laughing)
Uchiiiii, stop it. Do I really need six favourites in a six-person group that doesn't even currently include two of the aforementioned six people?
Let's recap the current hierarchy.
1. Shige
1. Koyama
1. Massu

& this was me, a year ago, after watching Never Ending Wonderful Story:
Before it would probably be 1) Koyama, with 2) Shige and Ryo right on his tail (Shige third if I reaaaaaaally had to pick), 4) Massu right behind them, 5) Tego a bit further back, and 6) Yamapi straggling wayyy behind.
Now it’s more like 1) is Koya, Shige and Ryo (Ryo an immediate second if I had to choose), 4) Massu really, really, REALLY close, 5) Tegoshi almost tied with Massu, and 6) still Yamapi, but not so dead last anymore, within a conquerable distance of Tego.
It took all of 2 weeks for Massu to jump up to first with everyone else, Kusa following a month or so later, and at the rate he's going Uchi has about 16 minutes left before I just have to admit that hell, he got me, too, and then I AM LOCKING DOWN MEMBERSHIP TO THE ICHIBAN CLUB before the word 'favourite' loses all meaning.
I keep meaning to write the quintessential "my year in fandom" entry but since so far I haven't been able to without it being rambly and stupid and fail, this will just have to do.
Here is the gist:
I love NEWS.
A whole lot.
All of them.
But five six in particular. ♥♥♥♥♥♥
