but i dont know how eloquent the game unfolds so i must compare you to checkers

rule book in hand i try to devour each rule
when in fact i guess in order to know you i have to dive in head first and just let it be
i read too much analyzing each move you make when its the bigger picture you are painting for me
and i guess i am too close to see it

and i am supposed to conquer you
you who embody the idea of the king in which with each place you come forward and take from me you place another king in my court
rule book in hand it seems i am unable to understand how with no idea you seem to have captivated all of me in one final swoop i see that this checker left in my court is my last and only defense my offense
and i am trying to make sense of this simply eloquent mystery of a game in which
its not checkers we are really playing but the game of KING ME!!
and i dont want to be kinged. I just want you to stop with the game
put it away back into the childhood in which yousought comfort behind this board across from me
and take hold of the reality that is the complicated but very upfront game of chess
