today was a big step. mrs. rachel really helped me realize a lot of things tonight. perhaps realize wouldn't be the right word. i've always had these thoughts in the back of my mind, but it wasn't until tonight that i was finally able to discuss some of the matters that will soon become a top priority in my life. in life, you are surrounded by friends and family, all people who eventually teach you something. whether it is a meaningless tidbit of information or a lifechanging experience, you really do learn something from all of those who are close to you. and now, in this never-ending learning process, i must become a teacher. somehow, i must look back on my past, gather all of the tidbits i've acquired, decide which i believe are the most usefull, and pass them onto my student . . .one whom is now officially named Joshua Matthew. i realize that, as of now, i have no comprehension as to how tough life is about to get, but i think i have finally found the right frame of mind to remain 100% positive about these upcoming events.

there are many thoughts i would like to share, but can't yet. in these next few months though, i hope i can learn enough to be able to share these thoughts with all. i apologize if this may sound awkward to some, but i don't think many people understand how much this changes your entire life. i know some may think they do, but they don't. and i'm sorry if this is taken the wrong way. i just believe in learning through experience. and i must say, this is going to be a hell of experience, and i can't wait to learn.
