VA. Tech.
This is a post that I had done on April 17th... transferred from my other journal so that it still remains on this one as well so that people can still take part in this if they'd like...
I know.. this is my 2nd post today... this one is more of a suggestion than an "About Me" post though.. Most of you have heard about the tragedy that unfolded yesterday at Virginia Tech University, and the deaths of the innocent students and faculty there... well, it was also "said" that the student had been a loner.. so what I'm trying to accomplish with this, is a little task, you don't have to do it really, but I think it's a nice gesture, with all of this going on. At least, make one or two, or even more if you'd like.. go out and make a new friend, or not even that, just send a message, or comment someone to just say "hey" and see how they're doing, they're really doing.. With all of this going on, I think right now everyone could use support, the families, and the friend of VA tech all can use it, and this gesture is to just show that you care about one another, and how this can affect anyone.. After that, come back, leave a comment and just say "I made a new friend" and that's that..
My heart goes out to all those at VA tech, to everyone there who has dealt greatly with all of the pain that occurred, that may have lost one of their friends, or their teacher, or just may have known that person.
