k, i'm back. just wanted everyone to know that. almost done my two forties o' beer, and i have a small bladder, so it's expected.
YAY!!!!! i finally have cable modem back!!! i'm still a bit confused. i was at work today, but ely was at home. the cable guy came and fucked around with shit. he took MY modem (my 80 dollar toshiba cable modem) and the wires and hooked up and left a comcast modem, free of charge. now, i'm not complaining, because, knock on wood, i haven't had this good of a connection yet since i switched to cable modem. so hopefully i haven't been ripped off and this guy has a brand new modem fueling his silly on-line first person shooter gaming addictions at home. i'll just wait and see. this is still so much better than dial up bullshit.
so... i wanted to get drunk tonight, but it never really happened. it has taken me more than four hours to drink two forties. and while i am glad i will feel okay tomorrow, i wanted to get fucked up tonight. maybe i should do that bong hit i was planning on... hang on...
ahhhh.... a little bigger than i expected. i can't smoke anymore (not like the old "daze") so a little goes a very long way. i hope i don't get all weirded out while i am sitting all alooone at 6 in the morn.
anyway, nothing new except that i am not making shit for money at work... i have applied for two new credit cards (qriss, i am following in your footsteps)... and i really have to start buying christmas presents.
oh, and i have to start getting my cher costume ready for halloween. skirtchasinhomo and i have decided that we are going to the party at the playhouse up the street. it's close to home, really close to home, and it's actually a fundraiser. i really love being able to walk to a play, spur of the moment, with like ten minutes to spare. so i want them to stick around for a while.
plus it's byob, so we can bring what we want and we won't break the bank paying for drinks.
if noone has plans for the big day... you should think about coming. halloween is on a friday this year. the past couple of halloween's have been lame, so i'm hoping this will make up for them.
alright, now i'm stoned and no longer drunk, so i am going to search for a sight to teach me knitting. i need to learn how to purl!
