On the 15th, Amy and I went to the boys swim meet. . . AND THEY WON!!! Oh man, it was so close! They were tied by the time it got to the 100 backstroke. Soooooooo close! It literally came down to the last race! Awesome races! And we talked with Mac!! Mac is really an awesome person. I like listening to his life tales and advice. He showed him pictures of Molly's wedding, and he told us that the picture looked very similar to the picture we gave him of the 4 managers (Em, Molly, Amy, and I) at our senior prom. He said he keeps the picture at his desk so that he sees it everyday :) Amy and I almost started crying. Mac is a very special person in our lives, and it's really cool to know that we mean just as much to him.
Now onto the rats!
I have been without my ladies for a while now :( I brought them home for Christmas so that I could feed them and stuff (which I'm sure they enjoyed). And because I went to Michigan, they remained at my parents house. And then when I did come back to my apartment, I was very hesitant to move them because Kitty was having bad breathing problems. She was weezing a lot, and her eyes were a little out of it. I didn't want to take the chance of moving her, inducing the stress of a long car ride, and having her not able to breath. She's getting old, and has a lot of health issues, so I'm being very over protective of her as of late. Also, the large tumor on her tail makes me worried, but I've been told by the vet not to worry about it. It doesn't seem to bother her, and it's not an infection since the medicine didn't decrease it's size. So, my point is that if all goes well, I'll have my girls back in my apartment on Monday!!! :D I'm really excited!! Keep it on the DL though. . . pretty sure my landlord wouldn't be overly excited to have knowledge that there are three rats in the building ;)
