MENDEZ. That's the last name of my soon-to-be roomate in NYC. That's all I need right now, girl.
Basically I'm really excited. I didn't get my original choice, and I'm pretty sure I'll be sharing a room with said Mendez girl, which is not so cute, but at least the place will be furnished. I am a bit concerned about the visitors factor. Like eighteen billion people plan to visit me and I was hoping for a single in order to share with guests, but I guess I will shack them up in the living room. Of course, I will sleep there too. I want to spoon with all my guestie besties. However, not so excited about explaining to Mendez my c pap breathing machine for the nighttime hours. But I am damn sure she'd rather see me looking like some alien specimen in silence, rather than the horrendous SNORING I do with out it.
Place is furnished, AIR CONDITIONING, HARDWOOD FLOORS, and a fucking DISHWASHER. wtf? Pretty sure that's the not the standard dorm apartment. NO pets though. LAME. Many drawbacks but many good things too. Laundry close by. Plenty of closets.
Though I wanted to get the other apt., it was unfurnished. So no worries about me and IKEA deliveries. I don't know who my other roomate is, which I thought was dumb. There is only me and the other girl. There are supposed to be two rooms, a double and a single. Who is third girl? Does she exist? Or should I pretend that maybe, gasp, maybe, it is just us two to share the apt. and enjoy sweet luxurious singles? Probably not. Schools love cramming bitches.
I don't care who Mendez is. As long as she is nice to me. The last time I had to shack up with an unknown human was five f-ing years ago my freshman year. Girlfriend was like my opposite, but super nice and easygoing. That's all I'm asking for. Laid back living styles. Can't deal with the uptights. Crossing my fingers, cuz I've heard so many roommate horror stories.
Oh NYC, I will be there in one month. Things are getting scary.
Before I come greet your sexy concrete land, I am to:
1. Go on a trippy with Jesse man to far away places and cheap motels.
2. Cut off all my hair except for my up and coming rattail.
3. Visit the philly billy with kel to see sus and stephen and jocelyn.
4. PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. make sweet love down by the fire with all of my close friends. GET. READY. FOR IT.
