I rented The Postman Always Rings Twice last night expecting it to be some classic movie about a postman who always rings twice.
No.
There weren't any postmen. It was two hours of Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange having the dirty sex all over the Twin Oaks Lounge and constantly plotting to kill the fat Greek guy who owned it. That's fun, but maybe the should consider changing the title or something. I also rented Happy Texas for Jen. She enjoyed it but later confessed to me her own expectations. "You thought that would be a 'Jen Movie'?"
I'm sorry that Jennifer Aniston wasn't in it and that nobody got married after years of friendship and shelter from other bad boyfriends and chocolate.
