first week of school...without classes
Today completes the very first week of college for me. It didnt really seem like college, but more like a camp. With a lot of partying and cops everywhere. Im definitely loving Cal Poly, im hanging out with some awesome people, and i cant wait to spend the next 5 years here.
My WOW group was awesome. The guys were a little quiet, but really sweet, and the girls were so genuine and outgoing. Our leaders, Whiteney and Joe were the best leaders we could have asked for. They made our week so much fun, and they frickin taught us the soulja boy dance.
We did so many things, i cant even remember everything. Ill start a list of what i can remember.
kayaked in morro bay
hiked bishops peak (its not as big as mission peak, but still hard to climb)
played inner tube water polo
beach bonfire with s'mores
watached zoolander on the field under the stars
wowarama ( 2 hours of crazy games with 4000 people on the field)
hiked to the P on the hill and got to pet horsies
community service at the homeless day center
partied like rockstars
So now i start class on monday. i still have to get 2 books, do laundry, and open a bank account at golden one. i hope i like my teachers.
Today im going to a foam party ( the frat fill rooms with sudsy foam. im just checking it out, prob not going in it) and then hanging out at pismo beach. Then the first home football game is tonight, with pre-parties and after parties.
i still miss everyone back home. Even though im surrounded by tons of people, its kinda lonely in a sense that none of my best friends are here. yea, i have met a lot of people, but none of them really know me, and i dont know who will be there for me when i really need someone. i know this will change soon, so whateva.
