Bright!on cleaners

I hate doing laundry in Boston. It's proving to be incredibly annoying and very expensive. The big problem is that the laundromats close at 8 or 9pm on weeknights. Now, I usually don't get home from work until 6:30, and then I try to go the gym because that also closes by 9pm. So this doesn't leave me anytime during the week to get it done. Which means, I usually have to try and get it done on the weekened. Last sunday I attempted just such a feat. It took me 45 mins to get my cloths into an open washing machine. I had a second load of mainly sheets, towels, and crap that wasn't as important to wash, and it was basically impossible to get a second machine. So I just gave up. On top of only getting one load done, which took me 2 hours to wash and dry. It costs 7.25$ to wash that load, and another 3$+ to dry it. The laudromat has 3 different size washing machines, little ones for 3.25$ that can hold one shirt, and maybe a sock, if you're lucky. The medium sized ones hold an average amount of clothing for 5.25$, and the 7.25$ ones basically do a double load.

And now I'm back here on a Wednesday night to wash the rest of my stuff. Yet again I'm paying 7.25$ to wash, and another 3$ to dry. (25 cents for 5 minutes of drying time). To pull this off I had to leave work a half hour early, and skip going to the gym tonight.

Sigh. The only nice thing about this place is the free wifi. Even if it is slow as hell. When I move in the fall I'm definitely looking for a place with laundry machines.
