  Someone made a joke about having  a ball pit at a furry con.  Others hopped in saying that is the last thing we should have after what happened with another con's Ball pit.  I had no idea what this was about but thank you to the internet.  I looked up Ball Pit and Dash Con and there was the story. But ... but ... there was already a ball pit at FC one year. Kinda unofficial, and it had to be moved from con space to a private room on Sunday, but it was there. I'll have to dig up pics to prove it :)

I am sure it pails in comparison to the greatness of the Dashcon Ball pit.

Only Super Sponsors got an extra hour in it. I am sure the FC Ball Pit was for commoners.

I read about the con thanks to LJ's (lame) community "ONTD." I then went to other sources to read more about it. I *LOL'd* that entire morning. It also pointed out how old I was since I had almost no idea what the heck they were talking about most of the time. Who are these people?!? Oh! They have a really cool podcast! Okaaaaaaaay.

I fursuited a ballpit once at a "fun park". Little girls kept trying to shove balls into my mouth (phrasing!) and one smashed one into Kitty's face as she was trying to get a pic.

Money issues and confusing presence of a ball pit aside, the overall premise made less sense than the youtube convention. Why even organize it? Why would anyone go?
