A new con, mostly. Up in the North East!
I will be at FurryCon up in the New York area. http://furrycon.com/ in the weekend of May 8th thru the 11th in Rochester, NY. This will be a new con for me,which is always kinda cool to do. You get to meet new furs and find out who is local to that area. So that is a cool thing also. I will get to see how they run their con and will find out what ideas they have that are the ones you want to take back to your own con back home. Now a bonus for me is that I am one of the GoH's for the con so I will spice it up in my own way when ever I can. I will be sharing the stage with Keefur who will in his first role as GoH at a furry con. He has been GoH at gaming cons before.
One of my roles as a Guest is to try to get more people to attend the con due to my popularity. Well, I got one person to say they will go so I did my part. :) Ah who know who else I might see up there I might be able to draw it. I can only hope right. If nothing else perhaps since i am bringing the Furry Drama Show to the con that might help out also. I think everyone enjoys a variety show right? Man, I hope so. If you are not a fan of that, shame on you, then you can go there for the booze. Yes Booze. This is one of those cons where the booze flows more freely. A party con!
To go along with the theme of Game of Con Chairs, there will be all sorts of events that relate to Game of Thrones including a wine tasting which is what I am looking forward to. It should be pretty cool to have that. The con will be divided up into various houses of rule. Keefur and I are handling the House of LyonStares and there are other guests handling their own houses so each house will be competing against each other so more fun should come in with that. I am looking forward to that part.
