Monday MFM
You think the fun would be over. Said our goodbyes to Chakawolf and Tobias as well as the rest of the gang. But we had some final plans before leaving. I was joining Keefur and Keegan for a gathering at Texas De Brazil. There were supposed to be some others joining us but they fell through. No surprise there I guess.
So we get there and eat at the Meat Faucet as I call it. It was great as always. Keegan came prepared with some coupons to make it more affordable. It turns out the coupon we have is for the Addison, Tx location but they honor it anyway and the Local coupon for free dessert we got that one also. Double score!!!
We are already down there so close to Beal street so I ask Keegan if he wants to suit down there seeing we have an 7-8 hr drive in front of us. Yes! And so we get into suit with Keefur as our
guide and we go down to Beal Street.
It was a blast. No issues really. A few high lights.
One being invited into a few stores including Hard Rock. Keegan headed back a bit early and I straggled behind and I came across some folks on an outside bar. A few questions later about where my mouth was and then the challenge came if I could drink a beer. Can the Cougar drink a beer?? Hell yes. So I got my first free beer there. I found out this was actually Flying Saucer. Like the one in Addison, Tx also. So I felt at home. Keegan comes back trying to find out what was taking me so long and I tell him about me getting a free beer so off he went to get back into suit and he got a beer also. My next beer challenge was if I could drink a beer out of straw. Can this get any easier??
What a great time. Too bad it had to wait till Monday to happen. Panda guy said it to earlier, you got to make your own fun. I think I had forgotten that some where along the way.
