Reading marathon continues...
Well, the Shopaholic series was good, but then the $35 hardcover, “Shopaholic and Sister,” made me think twice. I’m not being cheap or anything, but damn, it wasn’t worth $35!! So then on Sunday I made up this plan to head back to Chapters and ask for a refund. The excuse was that I bought it for my friend’s b-day, but then she already has it, so now I’m returning it. Bad Tiffany bad! I totally ripped them off, ha ha! Let’s just hope they don’t find that food stain on one of the pages…oops!!! Anyhow, they’re coming out with a paperback in the end of August, so I’ll buy it then where it would costs less than $15 and it would match the rest of the series.
In the end, I went to Coles inside Hillcrest Mall because I was shopping with Shellina to find a bday present for Mona. I ended up buying, “Can you keep a secret?” Okay, now I absolutely love Sophie Kinsella even more ‘cause that novel was good too! I thought it was funnier than Shopaholic, but then again, Shopaholic had the cute romance going on.
Oh yeah! I’ve learned a new term while reading “Can you keep a secret?”
