BON VOYAGE EMMY!!
There she goes again. Man I need a vacation and having Emmy going away doesn’t make things better. I envy her!
Just got home from our final get together before Emmy heads off to Cyprus tomorrow. Eve and Nila couldn’t make it, which kinda sucks, but we can always chill next time. So there were only the three us; Steph, Emmy, and I. Not bad, but it would’ve been more complete if the other two showed up. Anyhow, Emmy and I wanted to drop by at Chapters to buy this book. At first I was like, “What? You want to buy a book”? I asked her what’s the book called, then she goes, “Confessions of a Shopaholic”. Then I realized how I always wanted to read that book because I’ve heard good stuff about it. So all three of us headed over to the Kennedy and 401 Chapters to pick up a copy for ourselves. Emmy and I ended up buying the book and I also picked up this dessert book since I love to bake. Good stuff!
After Chapters we headed over to Country Style because Emmy wanted to try that rolo ice cap before she leaves the country, but then it was fuckin’ closed! So we ended up at Dairy Queen and bought this nasty moolate. It was sooooooo sweet and gross to the point where I wanted to vomit. Yuck!
Anyhow, it was only a two hour get together because Emmy had to go home and pack. That poor girl has been running around like crazy and has this bigass bump on her face. It looked like she got beat up. She told me how she couldn’t open her left eye this morning, and what sucks even more is how she gets it the day before her trip to Cyprus. So bad…I hope she feels better though.
Well, I think it’s time to get the book crackin’. Anything about shopping, I’m so up for it!
