Tornado fun!
So get this:
I go to get dinner tonight, so I head to the Watterson Food Court, attached to my dormitory. On my way back I am stopped by a flood of students pouring out of the stairways. Apparently, there are no intercoms along the hallway between the main parts of the dormitory and the food court, so I had missed the Tornado Warning, requesting all residents to go to the basement. So I'm stuck in the hallway with a bunch of other students around me, and I still hadn't eaten my food, so I sat down and ate it. Right there in the hallway. When I was done, and technically while I was still eating, Watterson employees try to get everyone into the stairways, away from glass. Well, I personally didn't think it was that bad out, and I really did not want to be stuck in a stairway with a bunch of stranger with no where to go. So I left. I walked right passed the guy with the megaphone and went outside. I wasn't sure exactly were I was going to go, but it wasn't really that bad out, so I went to the Quad. Along the way I told everyone that I passed that there was a Tornado Warning and that they should get inside. After hanging out in the gazebo on the Quad, I went to the Theatre building to see who all was there. Not much to my surprise there were people there, being productive (not hiding in stairways) striking a set. I hung out for a while then went to Kinko's with Nick. By the time we got back from there the rain had pretty much stopped and people were aloud back in their rooms in Watterson, so I came back in.
