(no subject)
-sigh- The beautiful weekend is over. The plus side though is that it's just the beginning of the nice weather which makes me happy. But it was a good weekend.
Friday, Randy picked me up from work and we headed over to Shep's. He had been there all day hanging out and they decided on going out to dinner. So we went out to dinner at the Mongolian BBQ. Now, I don't know if this place is only in the Cleveland area or if it's a chain or what b/c that one is the only one I know of anywhere in this area and it's about a half hour away from us. But oh my God, it's so good. The service wasn't so hot, but then again it was a Friday night at probably the busiest restaurant in that area. Afterwards we came home and one of his friends came over for a bit. I start to feel icky so I just went to bed and passed out.
Saturday we got up early and were out of the house by 11, that's like, unheard of for us! Just ran around all day, went back out to Coventry (where Mongolian BBQ is at) and walked around the little shops. We were back home by around 5 or 6, but overall we enjoyed the weather so much. It was just nice being able to drive w/the window's down again! Watched Persuit of Happyness. Such a great movie. Very inspirational. I liked it a lot, Will Smith did an awesome job too.
Yesterday was my lazy relaxing day. Got up early and went to some festival w/Mom that Steve and Jo were running a race in. So we watched the kids while they ran and then had breakfast at the pancake breakfast they have there (it's the Maple festival, everything revolves around maple syrup, it's weird, I know). Stopped at CVS on my way home and got some hair dye, came home and passed back out for 3 hrs, got up, cleaned, dyed my hair (burgandy, looks cool), and relaxed. Right as I finished doing my hair after getting out of the shower Randy got home. We sat around for about an hour and then went to exchange grills w/my parents. Came home and while he cleaned off the grill I got dinner ready. He grilled some burgers and I made a pasta salad and brownies. Damn good dinner!
So, that was the weekend. A very nice and relaxing one I must say. Now hopefully this weather can stick around, but I don't think it will )o= Oh well.
K, well I came in for 2 hrs of OT again this morning so I should get my work done. I just love being here when there's no one here and it's quiet!!
