(no subject)
I don't know why the world I'm sitting here updating this right now. My Mom is going to be here in 20 minutes to pick me up and I literally look like I just rolled out of bed. Oh well. No need to get all spiffy just to go grocery shopping and out to breakfast, right? Right.
So, I think my new Supervisor, La Sheen, might just be better than Shelly. I wanted to take yesterday off of work b/c Randy and I haven't had a day together in like a month. Well, I hadn't heard anything all week so Thursday afternoon I asked her about it and she said it had been denied but she was going to talk to the Dept. manager and ask him to oversee the denial. She said he'd want to know why I want the day off so I told her to tell him I had a Dr.'s appointment or something. So when she talked to him she came over like "He wants to know if you can come in before or after your appt". She knew I didn't have an appointment and she knew I was upset because I just rolled my eyes and said whatever or something and told her not to worry about it. But, she basically told ME not to worry about it, came back about 5-10 minutes later and said I had the day off. I told her the whole sob story about not getting to see Randy or whatever. She is seriously awesome and she's going to be SO mad when I quit, but I need more money more than I need a super awesome boss. But she is super awesome.
So, I had yesterday off work, which was real nice. We bummed around town all day, spent a little bit of money but got a decent amount of stuff. Just overall had a nice day together. I was hoping our tax returns would've come in so we could do whatever we wanted, but oh well. Such is life, right? Maybe he'll actually get a day off next weekend and our tax returns will come in this week. Who knows.
I leave for NC in less than 2 weeks now. I'm soooo looking forward to a vacation. I'm gonna miss the fuck out of Randy but 4 days away from Ohio and this ridiculous weather, not to mention my job, will be much appreciated.
My whole body hurts. I'm tired as fuck. I really hope I'm not coming down with something. With my luck I probably am. I did just sit here and sneeze for 5 minutes straight....
I should probably go get ready seeing as how my Mom will be here soon. I think I'm going to get everything done today that needs done so that I can be lazy tomorrow.
